A competitive pitch has led to Twenty winning the Asteron Life account. The agency will have a full service remit across all aspects of marketing, with an initial focus on customer retention. Work has already commenced on a data-informed customer contact strategy with the first communications launching towards the end of March.
Asteron Life was the New Zealand Insurance Industry Life Insurer of the Year in 2013. It has a long history in New Zealand dating back to 1878. Previously Royal & Sun Alliance, the brand’s primary focus is life insurance. It is a member of The Suncorp Group, which includes two other brands in NZ that already work with Twenty – AA Life and AA Insurance.
Executive Manager of Customer Strategy and Brand, Don Allerston, says that Twenty demonstrated a clear understanding of the sector and the customer opportunity for Asteron Life in their response. “Twenty responded to our brief with enthusiasm, insightful creative work and a real understanding of how we can use data-led insights to propel our strategy. We are looking forward to forging a tight partnership as we build our business in the coming years.”
